BBQ SAUCE FOR CHICKEN OR RIBS
This simple and smokey barbecue sauce is delicious on chicken ribs or pork chops. Try marinating the meats in the sauce at least one day before grilling or baking for a wonderful, intense flavor!
- 1 cup ketchup
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1 cup orange juice
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup dijon mustard
- 2 T. orange zest
- 1 T. lemon zest
- 1/4 t. liquid smoke
In a small saucepot, combine all of the ingredients. Over low heat, bring the sauce to a boil, stirring often.
Allow the sauce to simmer about 20 minutes to blend the flavors.
(Be sure to cool the sauce completely before marinating chicken or meats.)
