One of my favorite simple desserts’ that will wow just about anybody!
- 1/2 cup seedless raspberry jam
- 6 T. brandy
- 6 T. water
- 3 cups fresh raspberries
- vanilla ice cream
- crisp butter cookies
In a small saucepan combine the jam, brandy and water. Over low heat, bring the mixture to a simmer. Meanwhile, spoon the ice cream into small dessert dishes or goblets.
Top each bowl with 6-8 fresh raspberries. Once the sauce is simmering, stir in the remaining fresh berries and immediately spoon the sauce over the ice cream. Serve immediately with cookies.
