This recipe is unbelievably easy and oh, so good!

  • 6 T. unsalted butter
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 t. baking powder
  • 1/4 t. salt
  • 1/2 t. cinnamon
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 2-1/2 cups fresh blueberries

In an 8" glass baking dish, melt the butter. In a separate bowl, stir together the flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon and sugar until well combined. Add the milk and whisk until just combined. Pour the batter into the pan of  melted butter and do not stir. Sprinkle the berries on top of the batter. Bake at 375 degrees, for about 40 minutes or until cake is golden.

Serve warm with ice cream or whipped cream.
